I grew up in a suburb of Denver, CO. My husband and I (fiance at the time) made an out-of-state move in 2007 to Phoenix, AZ and then back to Denver the following year. After another year of unemployment in Denver and staying with various friends, he was offered a great position in Lexington, KY. It was a choice between staying in my beloved home state living in spare bedrooms of various friends or, moving on with life to a great new job/career/life. So, on September 15, 2009 we headed out for another adventure traveling east on I-70 with two cars, two cats, two people, a small U-Haul and a lot of boxes.
Our first stop of the trip just over the border of Kansas. At this point, it just really seems like we're on vacation. Other than the fact that we have both cars, our cats and a lot of our worldly possessions in a U-Haul, it was just like starting a long vacation. Seems to me, I started this "vacation" in August of 2007 and this is really just another leg.
